Gentle movement, storytelling and prayer
Friday 4 May, 2.00 pm–4.00 pm
Cost: $20.00
Using simple exercises in gentle movement and story telling this workshop will explore a widened vocabulary for our expression of prayer as a form of embodied hope. Rod says, “Spirituality has the capacity to get under your skin and to motivate and excite a sense of your being alive!”
Performing our Lives: A workshop for enhancing our goals at home and at work.
Saturday 5 May, 10.00 am–4.00 pm
Cost: $50.00
We are required to turn up in our lives at home and at work, sometimes as a soloist and at other times in the chorus line. Learning simple expressive skills can help us be more assertive, feel more alive, feel like we have something dynamic to offer and to also work with the skills of others. Learning about performance is learning about finding ourselves on the stage of life. It’s not just for dramatic types but also about playing with the roles of our life as a full-hearted participant. Workshop leader, Rod Pattenden, has used the techniques of InterPlay in community health and corporate contexts to enhance work satisfaction and shape personal goals.
